One thing that surprised me about Hawaii is how common these guys are. You can find Jungle Fowl EVERYWHERE on the island! In the forests, in the towns, even in the McDonald's drive-thru. We had no idea how populous they were, until the first morning at camp, where we were all woken up to the thunderous opera of roosters and hens at five in the morning. Bit rude if you ask me.
